Welcome back to Bending Reality.
Over the last four episodes, we've been on a journey together.
We explored how your identity shapes your reality.
We talked about your nervous system and why your body often holds on to old patterns long after your mind has decided to change.
We explored why confidence doesn't come before action—it is built through action.
And last week, we spoke about protecting your inner world, because what you consistently feed your mind becomes the foundation of the life you create.
Today, I want to bring all of those ideas together with one simple question.
What if the life you're looking for isn't something you chase... but something you become available for?
I think we're taught from a very young age that life is about chasing.
Chasing success.
Chasing money.
Chasing recognition.
Chasing the perfect body.
Chasing the perfect relationship.
Chasing happiness.
Always believing that fulfillment lives somewhere just beyond the next achievement.
And don't get me wrong—there is nothing wrong with having ambitious goals.
I love goals.
I love discipline.
I love growth.
I coach people to pursue extraordinary things.
But over the years, I've realized something.
The most fulfilled people I've met aren't constantly chasing life.
They're creating it.
They're not running from a feeling of "not enough."
They're moving toward a vision that deeply aligns with who they are.
That is a very different energy.
One is driven by fear.
The other is driven by purpose.
For ten years, I worked in fashion.
It was a beautiful chapter of my life.
I met incredible people, travelled, learned discipline, creativity and resilience.
But eventually, something inside me became louder than the life I had built.
There was a quiet voice saying,
"This chapter is complete."
Nothing was dramatically wrong.
But it wasn't fully aligned anymore.
Walking away wasn't easy.
When we leave something familiar, we don't just let go of a job.
We let go of an identity.
And that's uncomfortable.
Our nervous system would often rather stay in familiarity than step into possibility.
But I had learned something through movement, through yoga, and through life.
Growth always asks us to become someone we've never been before.
You can't create a different future while trying to protect every part of your old identity.
Sometimes the next chapter requires you to let go of who you've been.
Not because that version was wrong.
But because you've grown beyond it.
I see this with coaching clients all the time.
People often come to me saying,
"I want a handstand."
"I want to feel healthier."
"I want more confidence."
"I want to find purpose."
But after a few conversations, we usually discover something much deeper.
What they're really asking is,
"Can I become someone I don't yet know?"
That's the real question.
And my answer is always the same.
Yes.
But not by pretending.
By practicing.
Every day.
One decision at a time.
One breath at a time.
One conversation at a time.
One courageous action at a time.
We don't become confident overnight.
We become confident by collecting evidence.
Every difficult conversation you have.
Every promise you keep to yourself.
Every time you choose courage instead of comfort...
You cast another vote for the person you're becoming.
One of my favourite things about teaching handstands is that they expose this beautifully.
People think they're learning to balance upside down.
But they're actually learning something much bigger.
They're learning how to stay present in uncertainty.
They're learning how to breathe under pressure.
They're learning how to trust themselves after falling.
They're learning that progress is rarely linear.
And eventually...
Something shifts.
Not just physically.
Internally.
They stop identifying as someone who's "trying."
They become someone who practices.
That's a powerful difference.
Trying depends on motivation.
Practicing depends on identity.
The same applies to leadership.
To relationships.
To business.
To parenting.
To creativity.
To health.
I often think about leadership because so many of the people I coach are entrepreneurs or high performers.
They believe leadership means having all the answers.
I don't.
I think leadership is creating enough safety that other people remember their own answers.
Leadership isn't perfection.
It's presence.
It's listening.
It's curiosity.
It's integrity.
It's being willing to walk into uncertainty before anyone else does.
I've watched clients completely change their lives.
Not because someone rescued them.
But because they finally gave themselves permission to trust their own values.
To leave relationships that no longer aligned.
To choose careers that felt meaningful.
To create boundaries.
To become role models for their children.
Sometimes they were the first person in their family to make those choices.
The first to challenge old beliefs.
The first to choose a different path.
That takes courage.
Real courage.
Not because fear disappears.
But because purpose becomes stronger than fear.
And that's what I believe becoming magnetic really means.
Not attracting things through wishful thinking.
But becoming the kind of person who naturally creates opportunities.
Think about the people you admire.
They usually have something in common.
They don't spend all day trying to convince the world of who they are.
They embody it.
You trust them because they trust themselves.
You believe them because they live what they teach.
Authenticity has a frequency.
People feel it.
And the opposite is also true.
When we're disconnected from ourselves...
People feel that too.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is this.
People don't follow certainty.
They follow congruence.
Congruence is when your values...
Your words...
Your actions...
And your energy all point in the same direction.
When those things align...
People trust you.
More importantly...
You trust yourself.
That's why I always come back to embodiment.
Because transformation isn't something you think.
It's something you live.
It's the conversation you choose to have.
It's the boundary you finally set.
It's the apology you offer.
It's the walk you take instead of staying stuck.
It's the breath you choose before reacting.
It's choosing presence over perfection.
I want to leave you with one final exercise.
Imagine waking up tomorrow as the version of yourself you've been working toward throughout this series.
Not someone who's perfect.
Not someone who never feels fear.
Simply someone who trusts themselves.
How would they begin their morning?
How would they speak to the people they love?
How would they approach challenges?
How would they treat their body?
How would they spend the next hour?
Now here's the important part.
You don't have to wait until tomorrow.
You can begin living as that person today.
Not all at once.
One choice.
One breath.
One action.
Because this is what I've come to believe after years of teaching yoga, coaching people, learning handstands, travelling the world, sitting in silence during Vipassana, changing careers, and starting over more than once.
Life isn't asking you to become someone else.
It's asking you to remember who you are beneath the conditioning.
Beneath the fear.
Beneath the expectations.
Beneath the stories that told you to play small.
Your work isn't to become more.
It's to remove everything that prevents you from expressing what's already there.
That, to me, is what bending reality means.
Not bending the world to your will.
But bending your perception enough to see possibilities that fear had hidden from you.
Because once your perception changes...
Your choices change.
Once your choices change...
Your actions change.
Once your actions change...
Your life changes.
Not overnight.
But one conscious decision at a time.
As we finish this five-part series, I'd like to leave you with one final question.
When someone meets you a year from now...
What do you hope they feel?
Not what do you hope they think.
What do you hope they feel?
More peace?
More possibility?
More courage?
More love?
More hope?
Become that feeling.
Live it.
Practice it.
Share it.
Because your greatest legacy will never be what you achieved.
It will be who people became because they experienced you.
Take one slow breath.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Lift your chest.
Relax your shoulders.
And remember...
The life you're looking for isn't waiting somewhere in the future.
It begins with the person you choose to be today.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
If these five episodes have supported you in any way, I'd love for you to share them with someone who might need the reminder that they are far more powerful than they realize.
Until next time...
Keep asking better questions.
Keep choosing consciously.
Keep trusting yourself.
And keep bending your reality.
